Website looks great. Well done!

There’s going to be a Chili dinner at the Chiloquin Community Center on Wed, March 31 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Main course, for $5 is chili and salad with choice of Indian frybread, cornbread or Cafeteria rolls. There will also be a dessert bakesale table for a small extra charge. This is a fundraiser event for Chiloquin Visions in Progress. Can you post the event on your March calendar please?

Thanks, Joan

Joan,

Would you see if you can post that on the Events Calendar on the Chiloquin Fan Page on Facebook? I’d like to see if Fans can do that. They are supposed to be able to…

Terrific resource for our area! We have so much to offer visitors…one reason why folks come for 3, 4, 5 days or more….and now we finally have a resource to match! Thanks to everyone for all their hard work. Spring is just around the corner — can’t wait to see what visitors think!

One thing I’m doing is to send info on the new site to all the groups who have already booked Crystalwood Lodge for their various visits, reunions, and get togethers. The Sierra Club group coming this fall will really find this useful to fine-tune their trip planning, as will our other visitors, be they summer or year-round. So many folks arrive, visit Crater Lake, then figure out there is so much else to do, they can’t fit it all in. We’ll help fill out the calendar with sled dog activities to make sure that “problem” continues!

Happy Trails! — Liz

The grebes are back! To celebrate, the Oregonian published a short article referencing the Klamath Basin grebes featured in a new series called “Life” premiering on Discovery channel starting tonight! 8PM EDT, 5PM PDT.

Read more about it here…

And it’s snowing on the daffodils, so spring must be nearly upon us!

Enjoy the show…and come check out the real thing right in our back yard…

It’s spring and the yellow-headed blackbirds have returned to the marsh. For footage of many other spring birds, visit http://www.klamathbirdingtrails.com/video on YouTube.

Spring is here in Fort Klamath! We are about ready to mow our grass.
The WiFi equipment is installed and working (thanks, Tim) and the new pickleball court is nearing completion. We are adding activities to Crater Lake Resort to go along with the many activities in our area. What an excellent website!! Thank you!
