keys c’ik’as (Snowbird) is the Indian given name of Klamath Tribal Member, Taylor Tupper, who paints native designed shirts, jackets, and hats. When people ask about her designs, she says, “Many times when I begin to paint, I do not know what colors or what designs are going to take shape, and it often comes out as something entirely different than what I had planned. Chris Hellner I am Chris Hellner and have been creating my sculptures for 6 yrs. All my pieces are natural– needles, bark, driftwood, cones, gourds & more. Heather Honeywell Heather Honeywell lives just north of Chiloquin with her husband, dogs and horses. She has been drawing since grade school. Heather started off using ink on feathers in high school, but now uses acrylics on wild turkey feathers. Her favorite subjects are elk and horses. Heather’s painted turkey feathers are at Two Rivers Art Gallery in Chiloquin.
Judy Pate loves to paint with oils, especially focusing on God’s creation of wildlife and scenic beauty. She finds painting to be relaxing and wondrous; to be able to turn a white canvas into representations of life. “For the love of art and artists” is a favorite saying.
